What I Am Learning:

How to make homemade everything: scones, pancakes, pesto, french fries, biscotti and more! Thank you Sandi and All Recipes.com :)
How to communicate more directly- I am an indirect communicator living and doing community with mostly all direct communicators. So in order to communicate most efficiently and without confusion, I am learning how to communicate like them
To find my identity not in the things I do- dance, zumba, photography- but in Christ Alone and trusting in Him to be my portion and all that I need...it's not easy- in fact it is very hard to not label yourself as others do. But that is what I am trying to learn how to do- to know that I am first and foremost God's child and then all the other labels can fill in

Travel safety to Colombia next week to visit our friend Sam!
We are starting a neighborhood bible study with a few of the women from our Zumba classes~ pray for open hearts and that Taylor and I will be given peace and wisdom in how to lead the bible study that starts this Friday
Good hang out/baking time with taylor and I and a few teenage girls from our neighborhood zumba classes tomorrow morning! we will be baking scones- pray for good conversation and comfortability for every that comes!
safety and strength for my parents as they are in South Africa for the next 2 weeks for the Lausanne Conference
that women will come to our zumba classes that start on Monday
that Zumba will be our bridge to connect to our neighbors to make relationships and hopefully start a women's bible study
